Join us on an exciting boat-trip in one of Senjas most spectacular fjords; Bergfjorden.
The trip starts at Skaland, about 50 minutes by car from Finnsnes. Join us on an exciting boat-trip in one of Senja’s most spectacular fjords. Rich in cultural heritage, in particular, the 100-year-old mineral industry that has been, and still is in Skaland. Bergsfjorden also has an ideal archipelago with many seabirds, 99 islands and beautiful white beaches.
Focus on safety
Guided tours of the fascinating history and heritage of the area.
Many seabirds such as guillemots, cormorants and eagles.
If we are lucky we will spot the curious seals.
Practical advice:
We have an approved life jacket
Check the weather forecast: warm clothing, hat, mittens/gloves may be wise to pack.
Bring a camera/binoculars and a small backpack. The boat is very stable, and is a RIB - that is an open boat, steady and comfortable. We usually do about 20 knots with passengers. The Zodiac RIB is 23 feet long. The engine has 250 hp. The boat has VHF, chart plotter, radar, SART and emergency beacon. A maximum number of passengers: 12 persons.
